With this week being the beginning of study leave I thought it would only be appropriate to make a tasty snack to get me through and what better than a classic banana berry bread?! 🍌
I used thehealthylabel banana berry bread recipe, adding some cinnamon to it for a bit more flavour and slicing an extra banana in half and displaying it on top too!
To complete my study snack I made some chia jam by combining frozen raspberries, which I heated in the microwave, with some chia seeds and spread this on a slice along with some Everything Butter – very yum!
The banana bread was super easy to make and only used a few ingredients which you probably already have at home so I would definitely recommend checking out the recipe! The jam is a great option as the chia seeds contain high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, fibre, protein and antioxidants (totally living up to their ‘superfood’ title!), and the Everything Butter packed with lots of nuts and seeds (8 in total!) is a fab nutritious addition also! Studying doesn’t get much better 😉
